CompEx Certification Ltd understands the importance of impartiality and potential conflicts of interests in carrying out its certification activities.
CompEx Certification Ltd will therefore ensure that in its dealings with applicants, potential applicants, licensed centres, employees or other personnel its certification activities will remain impartial.
To ensure that impartiality is both maintained and can be demonstrated, CompEx Certification Ltd has identified and risk assessed all relationships which may result in a conflict of interest or pose a threat to impartiality, this process is revisited at regular intervals.
Conflict of Interest and objectivity is further covered through annual ‘best practice’ events and contractually binding agreements. The defined structure of CompEx Certification Ltd is designed to manage any conflict of interest and to ensure the objectivity of its management system and certification activities.
CompEx Certification Scheme impartiality requirements are overseen by an established Qualifications Committee who ensures that CompEx Certification Ltd remains impartial and consistently objective. This committee includes representation from internal and external stakeholders but is structured in such a way that no single interest predominates.
